Our church is fiscally-sponsoring this project to support indigenous-led initiatives towards community resilience in Sibundoy, Putumayo. The Time is Now to Give Back. Funds will be sent directly to the tribal governor to support a community food security initiative, “Seeds of Life” which will distribute ancestral crop seeds to every family in the Kamentsa rural territory. The project will also support the rebuilding and repairing of homes for the 40 most vulnerable families who are experiencing extreme hardship without adequate shelter during mandatory isolation amid the pandemic.
